Our cleaners take reasonable care when cleaning your home, and we maintain insurance coverage for any damage or breakage caused by our team. However, we must clarify that we are not liable for damage resulting from normal wear and tear, improper installation of items in your home, artwork, collectibles, or undisclosed family heirlooms. By booking a service through this website, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please refrain from booking a service with us.
Booking Confirmation
To secure your cleaning date and time, a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $70 will be required. Rest assured that this deposit will be deducted from the total cleaning price.
Booking service online does not guarantee a spot for your chosen date and time. We will contact you via email or phone to confirm your booking.
Cleaning Crew
We always work with teams of one or two , occasionally more cleaners may be needed due to the complexity of work. Our goal is to minimize the rotation of cleaners while ensuring our receive adequate cross-training.
Our undergo rigorous background screening before joining our team, ensuring that they have the highest level of integrity and accountability. You can have peace of mind knowing that our staff is trustworthy and reliable.
Right to Refuse Service
We retain the right to refuse or discontinue service in cases involving safety concerns, inappropriate or uncomfortable situations, presence of weapons on the premises, severe clutter, or disconnected utilities.
Our employees have the choice to leave if the home is in an extremely unsanitary condition or they feel unsafe/threatened. If you book a cleaning that is unreasonable, the cleaners may refuse service on the spot & you will be charged the cancellation fee.
Cleaning Day Preparation
To ensure that our cleaners can dedicate their time solely to the cleaning tasks, we kindly request that you take a few minutes to tidy up the areas and surfaces to be cleaned. This allows for easy access and efficient cleaning.
If you would like our cleaners to handle these tidying tasks as well, please contact our office in advance. We can adjust your cleaning fee accordingly to accommodate the additional time required for these tasks.
Pets
While we are happy to accommodate homes with pets, we kindly request that indoor pet activity is kept to a minimum during our cleaning service. This helps to ensure both cleaning efficiency and safety.
In the event that your pet becomes anxious or poses a safety concern, MaidScrub LLC reserves the right to remove our employees. The well-being of our team members is of utmost importance, and we will always prioritize their safety and comfort.
Our employees are instructed not to enter a house if they believe an animal is a threat, pets may behave differently if a family member is not present. If the removal of our cleaning technician is due to aggressive pets, our cancellation policy will apply.
Service Fees
Our pricing is based on the details of your property provided at the time of inquiry, but it may be adjusted depending on the actual condition of the house. We want to avoid any surprises when we arrive at the job site and discover that additional time is needed. In such cases, we will make sure to contact you to inform you about any necessary adjustments. However, if we are unable to reach you, our cleaners will have to leave, and a cancellation fee will be charged. This is to ensure fairness and transparency in our operations.
At MaidScrub LLC, we value our clients and their satisfaction. As part of our commitment to transparency, we reserve the right to reassess our rates at any time based on the actual time required to perform the service. A Service Manager will contact the client to discuss the necessary revisions to the price or service to ensure mutual understanding and satisfaction.
Payments
To secure your preferred cleaning date and time, a deposit of $70 is required, and we kindly request that a credit card be kept on file. This ensures your reservation and helps us provide a seamless service experience.
We accept various payment methods including Bank Cards and Credit Cards. At the moment, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. For our recurring clients, we kindly request that a card be kept on file for future billing of services.
Refund Policy
Please note that refunds or partial credits are not available as we are committed to delivering the best service to our clients. However, we understand that mistakes can happen occasionally since we are all human. If any issues arise, please contact us by text, email or phone within 24 hours, and we will promptly rectify any areas of concern at no additional cost to you. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding in allowing us to make things right.
Recurring Service Discount
For our recurring clients, we offer fixed discounts based on the cleaning frequency. It is important to note that if you decide to skip cleanings, thereby reducing the agreed-upon cleaning frequency, your price will be adjusted accordingly to align with the lower frequency pricing level. This policy ensures fairness in our pricing structure and maintains consistency for all our valued clients.
Rate Increases
The client’s cleaning rate may be adjusted at any time throughout the year in response to changes in the frequency of service, home or living situation, such as remodeling, change of address, number of occupants, or significant addition of furniture, among other factors.
In addition, the customer’s rate may be subject to an annual increase, which will be calculated based on the client’s current rate. This adjustment enables us to accommodate any fluctuations in operating costs while maintaining transparency and fair pricing for our valued customers.
Lockouts
The client is responsible for ensuring that the service location is accessible to MaidScrub LLC personnel on the scheduled service day. In the event that our team is unable to access the client’s home due to being locked out, we will make every effort to contact the client and arrange entry. However, if contact cannot be established within 20 minutes of the employees arrival, the scheduled cleaning will be skipped, and a late cancellation fee of $70 will be charged.
This fee is necessary to compensate our employees for the unexpected loss of revenue and travel time. To avoid this fee, we kindly request that clients provide us with key access or key codes to gain entry to their homes. This ensures a smooth and efficient cleaning process while preventing any inconveniences or additional charges.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
We understand the significance of service reliability, as we reserve a dedicated time slot especially for you. To maintain efficient scheduling and avoid any inconveniences, we kindly request a minimum of 24 hours’ advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment for any reason. This will help us accommodate other clients and ensure a smooth operation.
Please be aware that failing to provide the required notice may result in a cancellation fee of $70. We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy, which allows us to deliver reliable and high-quality service to all our valued customers
Alarm
If your home is equipped with a security system, please make sure it is turned off prior to our arrival. Alternatively, you can call our office to provide us with the code and proper instructions for its use. In the event that the code changes, please inform us promptly to avoid any lockout charges. Your cooperation in keeping us informed about any security system updates is greatly appreciated.
Use of Homeowner’s Vacuum
If you prefer to use your own vacuum during our cleaning service, please note that we will not assume or accept liability for any damage to the unit. As we are not responsible for the maintenance or repairs of the vacuum, it is important to ensure that it is in proper working order before our arrival. If the vacuum is not functioning correctly, we will be unable to perform vacuuming on carpet and hard floor surfaces as part of our service. Thank you for understanding the importance of having a functional vacuum for a smooth cleaning experience.
Cleaning Supplies
Our cleaners arrive fully equipped with all the necessary supplies to clean your home. You do not need to provide any additional items unless you have specific preferences. We supply the required equipment and products to ensure a thorough and comprehensive cleaning of your home.
If you prefer to use your own cleaning supplies, please be aware that we cannot be held responsible for any damage that may occur as a result of using those products. When making this request, we kindly ask that you have the necessary cleaning chemicals and supplies readily available and accessible for our use. This helps us carry out our cleaning service efficiently.
Items We Cannot Clean
Mold removal is a specialized service, and it is important to note that we cannot assume liability for any mold-related risks in our clients’ homes. While we strive to provide the best possible service, the responsibility for addressing and managing mold-related issues ultimately lies with the homeowner. We recommend seeking the assistance of certified professionals in cases where mold remediation is required to ensure proper handling and mitigation of any potential risks.
Our cleaning services do not extend to hoarding homes or areas that contain any animals, as well as areas with human body fluids, blood, feces, vomit, cat litter boxes, bird cages, urine, or other excretions. We apologize for any inconvenience and recommend seeking specialized services that cater to these specific cleaning needs.
Unreachable Areas & Heavy items
To ensure safety and minimize liability, our employees are unable to climb higher than a step stool or perform work outside of your home. Additionally, our cleaners are unable to move objects weighing more than 35 pounds. If you would like the areas behind/underneath heavy objects to be cleaned, we kindly request that you move them prior to our cleaning service. This helps us maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Breakage/Damage & Loss Policy
- When it comes to artwork, jewelry, collectibles, and family heirlooms, we understand their high value and irreplaceable nature. We kindly request that clients identify and point out these items to us before the start of our service. It is important for us to know about these fragile items so that we can handle them with the utmost care and follow any specific instructions you may have regarding their handling and care.
- For items that are absolutely irreplaceable, we recommend securely storing them in a safe spot during our cleaning service to minimize any potential risks. Your cooperation in ensuring the safety of these valuable possessions is greatly appreciated.
Please notify us within 24 hours of any breakage or loss of personal items. While we strive to replace them with identical items, we cannot guarantee an exact match.
Cleaners Arrival Window
To maintain competitive prices and avoid trip fees, our cleanings are scheduled to minimize drive time. While we will try our best to accommodate specific time requests, we cannot guarantee exact times due to the unpredictable nature of our business, including factors like traffic, weather, and mechanical issues.
For scheduling flexibility, our cleaning services are typically performed between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. We aim to arrive within our scheduled arrival windows which will sent to you prior to service. If we anticipate any delays, we will promptly contact you via call and/or text to keep you informed.
Holidays
We do not provide cleaning services on holidays at MaidScrub LLC. If your scheduled cleaning day happens to fall on a holiday, we will reach out to you to reschedule for another convenient date.
Please note that the following holidays will be observed:

- Christmas Day
- New Year
Inclement Weather
During inclement weather, the safety of our Cleaners is our top priority. If the weather conditions pose a risk, we may need to reschedule your service for a later date, provided the weather improves. Rest assured, our Management will promptly notify you of any necessary changes to your scheduled cleaning appointment due to inclement weather.
Key & Garage Codes
Client key codes and garage codes are securely stored in our database for your convenience and security. However, if a client chooses to leave a door unlocked or place a key in an unsecured location such as under a mat, MaidScrub LLC cannot be held liable for any damages or theft that may occur to the client’s home.
Non-Solicitation of MaidScrub LLC Personnel
Clients are strictly prohibited from soliciting any MaidScrub LLC personnel for employment or engaging them in any direct work outside of our service agreement. This policy is in place to protect the professionalism and integrity of our Cleaners and to ensure a consistent and reliable service experience for our clients.
Any violation of this non-solicitation policy may result in termination of services and may also lead to potential legal action. We take this policy seriously and will take appropriate measures to enforce it.
It is important to note that each of our Cleaners undergoes thorough screening, including background checks, references, and comprehensive training. We invest in their development to deliver top-quality service. Your understanding and cooperation in respecting our non-solicitation policy contribute to our professionalism and service quality.
Governing Law
Claims related to the MaidScrub LLC website are subject to the laws of the State of Texas, without considering conflicts of law provisions.
